Cisco Network Analyst
Location: 100% on site ~ Arlington Heights
Duration: Through the End of Year + Extensions

Shift: OVERNIGHT 11:00pm to 7:30am Monday-Friday
Required Experience:
- Strong Grasp of Routing Protocols and Commands
- 1-2+ Years of Cisco WAN is ideal
- Exposure to SD-WAN now – software defined networking
- 1+ years of experience with Wireless – RF – Aruba (understanding the concepts and frequencies)
- Routing Protocols – OSPF (EIGRP, BGP, RIP) – higher cost or lower cost
Bonus Experience:
- APs: 300 series
- Controllers
- 8.0 Code
- ClearPass – tool for high level over for APs
- Fed into Big Panda ~ ServiceNow
- 1+ Years of experience supporting Data Centers – Cisco Nexus 2K, 5K, 7K, and 9K
- F5 or open to other brands) Load Balancers for application groups – load balancing methods (lease connections/round robin?)
- Knowing the WAN technologies (T1s, T3s, Metro-ethernet connections, Telco provider is dropping switch into local prem)
- Troubleshooting WAN technologies
- Voice Background
- Reset a voicemail password
- Looking at a specific user and fixing some voice things
Daily Responsibilities:
This is a L2 Support Analyst role. This team monitors the client’s entire systems network and if issues/failures happen they enlist the L3 team when needed for escalations.
