Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trusts and Estate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in estate planning, trusts, probate, and wealth management. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex legal matters effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and finalize a variety of estate planning documents including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care documents.
Assist clients in minimizing estate taxes and protecting assets.
Represent clients in probate proceedings and trust administration.
Collaborate with financial planners, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.
Stay updated on changes in estate and tax laws to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents and reports as needed.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to The Florida Bar and in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estate law.
In-depth knowledge of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
LL.M. in Taxation or related field.
Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex estate plans.
