We are seeking a highly skilled and certified CCIE Network Engineer with expertise in Routing & Switching (R&S), Security, and Wireless to join a dynamic team in Houston, Texas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role demands a thorough understanding of advanced network concepts and hands-on experience with Cisco technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy complex network solutions using Cisco R&S, Security, and Wireless technologies.
- Develop and implement network architectures that meet business requirements.
- Perform network upgrades and expansions, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Provide Level 3 support for complex network issues, collaborating with other IT teams as necessary.
- Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance status.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale enterprise networks.
- Extensive experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, ISE, and other security technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of wireless networking technologies, including Cisco WLAN controllers and access points.
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
