This role will support the PMW770 Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) in their role as the Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) for multiple communication systems fielding on US Navy submarines and shore sites. The role is primarily program management support and includes communication with owners of the various systems to obtain schedule and status information, consolidation of this information into schedules, briefs and other formats for leadership review. The role includes risk management activities including identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and providing leadership awareness. Other tasks include documentation development such a Security Classification Guide (SCG) and program acquisition documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ Years project management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools including MS Project
- Experience with developing and managing a new project’s schedule
- Ability to analyze a schedule for critical paths, risks, and accuracy
- Experience developing and presenting technical and programmatic briefs
- Detail oriented, self-starter, with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret to Top Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- US Navy or NAVWAR experience
- PMP Certification
- Active security clearance
