An employer in Dayton, OH is seeking a SECRET Systems Engineer (Mission Modeling & Simulation) for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: will assess weapon systems using analytical tools such as AFSIM, to evaluate and modernize these systems. Will determine attributes and tactics to improve survivability against foreign (red) threats. The analysis that is going to be performed will help the Department of Defense to make better informed decisions for future combat scenarios. Will be required to have an active Secret Clearance and sit on site 5 days/week.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Active SECRET Security Clearance (DoD) Bachelor's Degree (STEM)
- 2+ years of experience in Modeling & Simulation Experience with AFSIM
- Experience scripting and/or programming in C++, Python or MATLAB
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- TS/SCI Clearance Master's Degree
- Experience working in a Linux environment
