Brown & Brown of Massachusetts is seeking a Client Service Manager for our Commercial Lines team in Dedham, Massachusetts.
This role is full-time, and requires in-office availability at least one (1) day per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Accurately prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, draft of binders and Summary of Insurance, audits, endorsements, renewal information request forms, draft of insurance specifications, draft of proposals, etc
- Manages the review of policies to ensure coverages are as quoted, proposed and bound and provides final quality assurance of the placement in conjunction with the account executive
- Reviews insureds contracts and ensures that policy, endorsements and certificates of insurance are compliant with the contract. Provides feedback to clients regarding any recommendations or changes to policy wording
- Promptly responds to routine requests for data and questions from clients, underwriters and internal staff
- Policy checking for new business, re-writes & endorsements
- Develops knowledge of a client’s business and industry and their specific risk profile though their business model, asset portfolio, product and cash flow, loss history, etc. Identifies the client’s exposure to loss and the means to address them; predominately through insurance risk transfer. Identifies tolerance to risk retention and service needs and protocols
- Creates insurance proposal to compare competitive insurance program options and recommend the best program for our clients
- Accurately completes the Renewal Information Request
- Develops and maintains relationships with underwriters and other service providers. Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and innovations
- Develops and maintains client service plans, manages mid-term changes and assists in Stewardship reviews
- Promptly and accurately responds to client requests. If responsibilities are delegated, follows through to ensure client received timely responses
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- High School Diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
- P&C Insurance Producer License in good standing
- 5+ years functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
