Onsite System Administrator in Gardena, CA- As an Onsite System Administrator, you will Provide general hardware and software support services troubleshooting working with network and client hardware, software applications, and other IT related issues
Responsibilities:- Provide general hardware and software support services troubleshooting working with network and client hardware, software applications, and other IT related issues
- Setup, install and configure Servers and Network equipment
- Administer, troubleshoot and support network cabling and mesh Wi-Fi network
- Setup, administration and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Servers and Windows PC client workstations utilizing Active Directory
- Active Directory Management
- Group Policy Management
- Work with existing help desk staff to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem, training them in networked systems support and troubleshooting
- Administer and Support Microsoft 365 and MS Teams users
- Maintain AD Connect service
- Implement, Support and Monitor and Document network and end user Cybersecurity
- Work with outside network support consultants coordinating monthly server maintenance and server patching. Onsite and Offsite backups, Cybersecurity and other support services * Address end user client questions researching available information resources
- Help develop and document company I.T. Support policies, procedures and directives
- Communicate company policies and standards to end users.
- Document Existing Network, Server, and Client Devices
- Recommend hardware, software and system process changes as needed to improve company operation and IT service levels
- Stay current with information technology systems and industry trends
This is Fulltime Contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: - BS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) is beneficial, but not required
- 5-7+ years network administration in a Microsoft Windows server environment utilizing Active Directory
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Hands on team player
- Superb attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and efficiently
- Follow up and follow through with tasks at all levels
Pay Rate: $35/hour to $36/hour
