Business System Analyst (BSA) role that is focused on working within a Data Warehouse team, specifically with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) applications. Here’s a summary of the key requirements and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Business & Functional Documentation: Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and Mapping documents to guide the development of ETL applications.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries across multiple tables to support data analysis, profiling, and mapping document creation.
- Data Analysis & Profiling: Analyze and profile data to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication with data modelers regarding table design.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with various stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team.
- Testing & Production Support: Assist in testing, verify production readiness, and ensure post-deployment accuracy, potentially including weekend or off-hours support.
