Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Power Electrical Engineer with a P.E. license to join our client in Houston, TX. The role involves designing, developing, and managing electrical systems for power generation, distribution, and transmission projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for power projects
- Manage projects from concept to completion
- Provide technical guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Valid P.E. license in Texas
- 5+ years of experience in power systems
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools)
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and other codes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
