Title: Java Architect
Location: Dallas, TX
Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Java Architect with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performing solutions that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-level applications and solutions using Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Architect and implement microservices-based systems to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
- Provide expertise in Angular to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces for our applications.
- Ensure code quality, best practices, and architectural integrity are maintained across all development teams.
- Define and enforce design and coding standards, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and support.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster technical growth.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Demonstrated experience with Spring Boot and designing microservices architectures.
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular and a deep understanding of responsive web design.
- Proficient in RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Commercial lending experience is highly preferred
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
- Prior experience in a leadership or architectural role
