The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a leading material science organization that has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer near Austin, TX!
Responsibilities:
- Performs engineering work related to researching, designing and developing machines, mechanical products or tools, mechanical production equipment or engineers.
- Collaborates with other engineers on application of robotics for improving production processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering discipline
- 3D CAD Software (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Pro Engineer, AutoCAD) expeirence
- Experience with high speed electrical cable/connector designed (QSFP, OSFP, Slimline or PCle) is a plus
- Understanding of signal integrity concepts is a plus
- Good communication skills to interface with suppliers and customers and communicate internally with different teams
- Team player
- Self-starter, highly organized and able to multitask
Additional Information
- 100% onsite position
- 1 year contract opportunity
- 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
- Pay rate approved up to $32/hr depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
