Control Systems Engineer
The position is for a Control System and Instrumentation Engineer to work on controls and instrumentation projects.
Schedule:
The position requires to be onsite/on-premises with a general schedule of 9/80 typical 0700 to 1630 and must be able to work flexible hours for turn around to execute cutovers, and complete deliverables.
Technical Skills Requirements:
- Experience working on Honeywell DCS systems with strong fundamentals in utilizing Engineering tools
+Experion Control Builder, HMI/Display Builder, C300 Controllers and IOTA
+TPS Native Window, LCN and HPM fundamentals
+Single loop and complex loop
- Instrumentation Fundamentals
+Transmitters and valves and other sensing elements
- Other – base knowledge as minimum
+PLC and general knowledge of serial communication protocols
+RTU is a plus
- Data Management: Use of excel spreadsheet to manipulate data
Basic requirements:
- Strong communications skills to manage stakeholder expectations
- Change Management skills or experience
- Strong time management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously and able to provide time estimates to PMs/PEs
- Microsoft Office fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years working in a refinery environment.
- Engineering Degree required.
- TWIC card, passed drug test and background check is required.
