Property / Estate Manager - Southampton - $120k- $150k plus bonus and fully paid benefits
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property /Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a luxury estate in Southampton, NY. You will be responsible for managing the property, grounds, staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the household.
This role requires a meticulous individual with a passion for luxury property management and the ability to maintain the highest standards of service. The property / estate manager will be expected to have an “all hands on deck” mentality during the summer season when the home is occupied by the Principals. More traditional hours can be expected in the off-season.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily maintenance and upkeep of the estate, including the main residence, pools, golf course, and surrounding grounds.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan for the property, including scheduling preventative maintenance for high-tech appliances and features.
- Manage a team of household staff, including groundskeepers, pool technicians, and domestic staff. This includes scheduling, performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and special projects.
- Manage the estate's budget for operational costs, maintenance, and supplies.
- Oversee security measures and ensure the safety and security of the property.
- Liaise with the Director of Properties on all estate-related matters.
- Manage inventory control for household supplies and equipment.
- Oversee deliveries and manage the estate calendar for appointments and events.
- Maintain detailed records of all estate operations and expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in estate management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing high-end properties.
- Strong understanding of landscaping, pool maintenance, and high-tech appliances.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Discreet and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license.
Base Salary: $120k- $150k plus bonus and fully paid medical/dental/vision, 401k with automatic employer contribution, and other benefits and perks!
