Position: Terraform Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 4 months contract
hybrid set-up (2 days remote and 3 days on-site)
We are looking for a person who possesses extensive experience in configuring, implementing, and integrating Terraform in on-premise environments, with a strong understanding of how to integrate with Ansible, Azure DevOps, and Azure. Additionally, knowledge of Juniper network infrastructure is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Terraform Configuration and Implementation:
- Design, configure, and implement Terraform solutions for on-premises infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to automate the deployment and management of resources.
Integration with Ansible:
- Integrate Terraform with Ansible for streamlined configuration management and automation.
- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks in conjunction with Terraform to ensure efficient infrastructure provisioning.
Azure and Azure DevOps Integration:
- Integrate Terraform with Azure DevOps to enable CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
- Manage and deploy Azure resources using Terraform, ensuring smooth operation between on-premises and cloud environments.
Network Infrastructure Management:
- Work with Juniper network infrastructure, applying Terraform configurations to manage network devices and configurations.
- Ensure network infrastructure is properly integrated with on-premises and cloud resources.
Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor the performance and scalability of infrastructure deployments, making adjustments, as necessary.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing Terraform configurations, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Document Terraform configurations, integration processes, and best practices.
- Ensure that all configurations and deployments adhere to company security policies and compliance standards.
Additional Information:
- Preference would be to consider someone local in a hybrid set-up (2 days remote and 3 days on-site).
- This position would be an 8 am – 5 pm shift / no on-call, but after-hours support in case of emergencies
