As an Analog Design Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our team developing cutting-edge power conversion solutions. You will design and implement high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including innovative power converters, using advanced CMOS processes. Your work will directly contribute to the creation of next-generation devices that seamlessly integrate into leading consumer electronics products.
Responsibilities
- Develop cutting-edge power conversion solutions and associated circuitry.
- Drive the design process from concept to implementation, integrating solutions into high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Utilize modeling tools such as Matlab, Simulink, and Spectre AMS Designer to create and analyze circuit performance.
- Perform transistor-level design and implementation.
- Oversee layout implementation, conducting post-layout simulations and optimization.
- Conduct hands-on laboratory testing, silicon characterization, and debugging.
- Support product validation, characterization, and production test activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of proven professional experience in integrated circuit design engineering; or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of proven expertise in integrated circuit design engineering
- Deep understanding of the analog design flow steps, including architecture, design, and design integration
- Experience mentoring other less experienced designers
- Proven understanding of high-level modeling tools such as Matlab, Simulink, or similar
- Expertise in power conversion architectures, transistor-level design, and simulation
- Understanding of control theory for power conversion solutions
- Experience designing inductive and/or capacitive power converters
- Hands-on lab test/debug experience with scopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment
- Possess an understanding of device physics and basic ESD/Latchup concepts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
