- Conduct monthly calibrations on furnace controllers and perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing process data from vacuum brazing, heat treating, and aging furnaces.
- Collaborate with engineers to draft procedures and reports.
- Build and assemble fixtures for various applications (e.g., core stacking, vacuum brazing, pressure testing).
- Fabricate specialized tooling as needed.
- Provide general support to the factory operations.
General Requirements:
- Proficiency in using standard hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in assembling process fixtures.
- Competence in using a personal computer (e.g., MS Word, Excel, data logging).
Maintain Laboratory Equipment and Instrumentation:
- Calibrate temperature controllers, thermocouples, and related equipment.
- Advise on the acquisition or replacement of instrumentation.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma, Associate’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent related job experience.
