This opportunity is with a commodities-focused Private Equity firm, where you will be given the significant responsibility of improving the security posture of a diverse portfolio of 50 companies.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of devising and implementing comprehensive disaster recovery plans to safeguard their investments. You will also conduct thorough risk assessments across various portfolio companies, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to grow within the business, tailoring your career path to your strengths and interests, whether that means specializing in a specific area of security or taking on leadership responsibilities.
The firm are looking for candidates with experience using Azure and familiarity with the NIST framework. Strong communication abilities are essential to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and articulate complex security concepts in an understandable manner. A proactive approach to identifying issues and crafting innovative solutions is also highly desired.
One or more years of experience in a client-facing security role would make you a suitable fit for the position. The role offers a competitive salary of $80,000-$95,000 and is an on-site position in their Houston office.
