Position Description
The Lead Services Engineer is responsible for technical leadership for building and managing APIs that support our Digital Apps, In-store integrations, payments, etc. Responsible for discovery, design, development, and lifecycle management for services in our Azure Middleware. This individual serves as a lead resource and developer on the team for supporting project workload requested by business/marketing product owners and other stakeholders. The Services Engineer provides thought leadership and technical leadership for other services engineers as well as architects and business analysts on forward development and feature design/discovery. This role will not be responsible for HR management of the team, which will allow them to be able to oversee the technical aspects of the team’s growth and delivery while also contributing individually.
