IT Business Analyst
Hybrid Contract Role – Elmwood Park, NJ
RedStream Technology is recruiting for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a leading healthcare company in Northern, New Jersey. This position will report to a Product Manager within the internal IT organization. This is a highly collaborative role which interfaces heavily with internal IT team members, senior business stakeholders, and vendor partners throughout the strategy, planning, and execution phases of systems design and development.
The Business Analyst will work closely with client organizations across the company and other IT stakeholders to follow an Agile process for product development. PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES
- Serve as a primary resource for capturing written requirements and related artifacts based on collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in product engineering discussions to adjust requirements balancing user experience, timeline, and integration complexity
- Partner with IT leadership & support planning activities with business leadership
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- 3-5 years experience in a business analysis role
- Experience working with other analysts & product managers across a portfolio of products
- Detail-oriented and excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others to accomplish team objectives
- Ability to function at both conceptual and detailed levels 6. Healthcare industry experience
- Experience working in a SCRUM or otherwise Agile software project environment
- Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Gliffy, and SmartSheets
- Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal & communicational skills (written, oral)
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Process oriented individual
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task on various projects at different stages and ability to shift priorities as needed
EDUCATION BA or BS in a computing, business, or healthcare related concentration
