We are seeking a Technical Senior Data Analyst who will be a key component to meeting overall business data and reporting objectives. This role will help manage the day-to-day flow of Sales Operations data to and from the data warehouse. It involves developing and maintaining databases, writing complex queries to extract critical insights from large datasets, and creating automated processes to transform data. The technical analyst will also collaborate with IT teams to drive multiple data flow projects and initiatives.
This role is best suited for someone with a programing background in tools such as Python, SQL, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop adaptive processes for standardization, automation, & scalability across the department
- Manage data quality & consolidation across multiple batched and/or streaming ingestion sources
- Develop and maintain databases to store and organize large datasets
- Manage OneStream application as an administrator, which involves loading data from snowflake, maintaining business rules, and creating cube view reports
- Create visualizations including charts, and dashboards to communicate findings and KPIs to stakeholders and executives
- Research existing data processing workflows and make recommendations for corrections and improvements for higher efficiency
- Project management of multiple ongoing activities including coordination of IT and internal team resources to better understand how information is stored, modeled, and tagged
- Design and develop ETL workflows and train end-users on new reports and dashboards
- Ensure data governance policies and security measures are implemented
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven working experience as Data Analyst for over 5 years
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Technical expertise regarding data lakes, data models, data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence
- Strong knowledge of ETL and experience utilizing different tech stacks - SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Azure, Snowflake, Alteryx Designer and Server Excel, etc
- Experience with OneStream application is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
