As the Planning and Specs Sales Representative you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the outside sales team, focusing on technical details and project coordination for capital equipment and builds. Your primary responsibility will be to provide invaluable technical expertise and ensure seamless project execution to enhance the team's overall sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Promote continued sales through engaging vendors and encouraging them to purchase products.
- Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, daily cycle counting, annual physical inventory and replenishment.
- Complete and process all warranty claims as well as transaction paperwork and invoices
- Collaborate with internal team in identifying required parts and following up with customers on past due accounts.
- Foster strong customer relationships by providing timely technical support, addressing any concerns or questions and identifying additional aftermarket products that may be beneficial to them.
- Identify new product opportunities to promote as part of the product line.
Requirements
- A least 3 years of sales or marketing experience and a High School diploma
- Computer proficiency with programs such as Microsoft
- Exceptional customer service acumen and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage time and handle competing priorities while ensuring accuracy.
