Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst
Our Enterprise Solutions team is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business System Analyst to support our global Media & Entertainment client with a large enterprise project, focused on a Sales & Marketing solution integrating multiple applications to improve sales outcomes. The PM/BA will play a key role in ensuring that a suite of critical business applications are analyzed with current state analysis, document future state requirements, integration requirements, and drive the project to completion with a wide variety of key business and engineering stakeholders. You will get the opportunity to work directly with the business users to document business requirements, future state needs, and work with developer teams to ensure requirements are delivered. Prior knowledge of Salesforce and experience mapping and documenting API integrations between systems will be required for this project. Your ability to communicate with the business and champion their needs will help you ensure that the solution is delivered to meet the needs of the business. You will also have experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), application support, and working within an Agile development framework, leveraging Jira for user stories and Smartsheet for project tracking. The analyst may need to run basic SQL queries to perform data validations and ensure datasets are accurate. The preference is for candidates with prior Media & Entertainment systems experience with large enterprise systems. Must have excellent business communications and be able to work partially onsite (Hybrid model) in the Los Angeles area within PST hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project management and business systems analysis efforts for the migration of a Sales & Marketing Solution.
- Manage project timelines, tracking project status, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Communicate and colloaborate with external and 3rd party vendors.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and document business requirements and future state needs.
- Conduct current state analysis and document future state requirements.
- Map and document API integrations between Salesforce, Airtable, and other 3rd party systems.
- Work closely with developer teams to ensure requirements are delivered.
- Create and manage test plans with acceptance criteria to ensure the solution meets functional requirements.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and application support.
- Utilize Agile development methodologies, leveraging Jira for user stories and Smartsheet for project tracking.
- Run basic SQL queries to perform data validations and ensure datasets are accurate.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and champion their needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 8+ years of combined experience in project management and business systems analysis.
- Prior experience with Salesforce (SFDC) or Sales Marketing Cloud applications.
- Proven experience with Salesforce object models and mapping API integrations.
- Strong understanding of functional requirements documentation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Smartsheet.
- Ability to run basic SQL queries for data validation.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment industry with large enterprise systems.
- Prior experience with Television / Film Distribution, or Content Distribution systems would be a huge plus!
- Experience with Airtable integrations a huge plus!
- Ability to work partially onsite (Hybrid model) in the Los Angeles area within PST hours.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $60 - $80/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
