Role Overview: The KYC Governance & Control Process Lead is responsible for designing and implementing Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and enterprise standards. The role involves managing and optimizing controls, improving process efficiency, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- KYC Process Design: Develop and implement KYC processes that meet regulatory and TD policies, ensuring accurate documentation and verification.
- Governance & Control: Oversee adherence to KYC standards, continuously improving control oversight and client experience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with 2LOD, LOBs, and KYC Product teams to ensure alignment and integration of KYC controls.
- Audit & Compliance: Partner with internal and external audit teams to meet documentation requirements and ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of risk management, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Regulatory Change Management: Lead the implementation of regulatory changes and ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and report risks, ensuring all business operations comply with applicable regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead or contribute to enterprise initiatives, providing risk management expertise and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years in IT security, controls, and risk disciplines.
- Skills: Expertise in information security, KYC processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive process improvements.
