Responsibilities
- Develops and implements a capital project program that is aligned with company goals and objectives through strategic planning and success project execution
- Provides leadership throughout the project by collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, or other involved parties; develops detailed description of jobs and materials necessary to complete project
- Responsible for all aspects of the project, including developing and managing project controls, updating project stakeholders, supervising multidisciplinary design teams, and managing contractors
- Prepares and submits budget estimates and regularly communicates with stakeholders concerning project progress and costs
- Oversees contract negotiations, revisions, and additions and adherence by all parties
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
- Responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with contractors, design firms, and consultants; including, but not limited to reviewing proposals, awarding bids, managing contracts, and allocating resources
Requirements:
- 10+ years of project experience
- Ability to manage a large portfolio of projects ranging in varying sizes, durations, and complexities
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations related to the construction and pharmaceutical industry
- Conceptual planning ability
