Systems Engineer
Onsite at least 2x per week (Mon-Tue)
Location: Orlando, FL
- ITIL Certified
- Experienced with Kepner-Tragoe
- Network Infrastructure Understanding: Strong grasp of network protocols and infrastructure, including HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancing, essential for maintaining system connectivity and performance.
- 24/7 On-Call Rotation: Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, providing critical support to ensure continuous system availability and rapid response to issues.
- Enterprise-Scale System Support: Provide end-to-end technical support for complex enterprise-scale applications, utilizing a mix of on-premises and cloud technologies.
- Cloud and On-Premises Expertise - AWS, Azure and SSL/TLS and client certificates
- Lead OS and application server performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
- DevOps and ITSM Integration: Act as a liaison between DevOps teams and project delivery teams, applying systems reliability engineering principles and ITSM service operations disciplines to optimize system reliability and availability.
- Incident Management Leadership: Provide technical leadership during major incidents, quickly identifying points of failure and restoring normal service operation.
- Experience with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana to ensure system reliability and automate routine tasks.
- Containerization and Deployment: Expertise in deploying containerized applications using Docker, ECS, AKS/Kubernetes, and managing code/configuration with tools like Chef, Jenkins, and Terraform.
