Day-To-Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Data Quality Developer for one of our largest clients in Downtown Cleveland. This individual will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues, implement data validation processes, and optimize data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain data quality rules, standards, and best practices.
- Extract and run data on Tableau reports.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify data quality issues.
- Design and implement data validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively address anomalies.
- Participate in data governance initiatives and contribute to data quality improvement efforts.
- Work with ETL processes and tools to cleanse, transform, and load data.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Document data quality processes and procedures.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of professional IT experience
- Strong understanding of Data Quality and Data Governance
- Understanding data policies and procedures, how to report on data quality, how to create data quality dashboards, how to build pipelines, ability to prepare workflows, etc.
- Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
- Experience with Tableau reporting – the ability to extract data and run data on tableau reports.
- Strong Collibra development experience
- Must be able to set up Collibra workflows
- Advanced experience in SQL
- Must be able to develop complex queries from scratch
Salary:
$94,000/year to $120,000/year.
