Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst coordinates Information Technology (IT) projects and initiatives from proposal through to deployment. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and launching efficient operational processes that support the organization's core functions and business processes. The Business Systems Analyst will gather and analyze data for business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements, ensuring that all data processing operations are monitored, analyzed, controlled, and conducted according to established operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Coordinate IT projects and initiatives from proposal to deployment, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Process Development: Plan, develop, and launch efficient operational processes to support core organizational functions and business processes.
- Data Gathering & Analysis: Gather and analyze data for business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements to support decision-making and project planning.
- Data Processing Support: Assist with the monitoring, analyzation, controls, and operations of all data processing according to established operational procedures.
- Consultation & Implementation: Consult with superiors to assist with the maintenance, upgrading, and implementation of new processes or procedures, ensuring minimal disruption to business units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business systems analysis, project coordination, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyze complex data.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT project management or systems analysis within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of operational processes and procedures in a business setting.
- Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g., CBAP, PMP).
