Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months
About the Role:
We are partnering with Solidigm to find a talented DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role based in Rancho Cordova. This position offers a chance to work on cutting-edge infrastructure, automation, and deployment projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a DevOps or related role with a strong emphasis on infrastructure, automation, and deployment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog and Splunk.
- Database administration experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of storage technologies (S3, NFS, CiFS, LVM).
- Strong system administration skills for both Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.
- Fundamental understanding of system networking for effective collaboration with IT teams.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Artifactory, Git, and GitLab Pipelines.
Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of development processes like SCRUM and tools like Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience with OS imaging tools such as Altiris.
- Programming knowledge in Java, Golang, Angular, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with additional monitoring tools like Prometheus and HPE OneView.
- Experience with Kubernetes design patterns like GitOps.
- Experience with alternative container tools like Podman.
- Database administration experience with SingleStore.
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Quick Build.
