Akkodis is seeking a Security Specialist for a contract opportunity with a leading client located in Sunnyvale, CA
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Range: $58/hr
Responsbilities:
- Investigation of shared assets via logs leveraging CSECs runbook.
- Identifying individual Points of Contacts from the investigations and associated those POCs to the assets and/or resources
- Coordinate with Rishab/CSEC and eDiscovery/Legal for data classification to ensure compliance is met for resources (nothing is on legal hold or needs to remain on AWS for compliance reasons)
- Track plan of record, timeline for action, and status for identified resources along with POCs
- Curating action plans for unattributed and unidentified resources to be raised to leadership for decision
- Mass follow up to POCs with instructions to migration and/or vacate resources off the shared accounts
Assets to be investigated:
- Cloudtrail Logs - Ongoing through 90 days
- Looking at event records for data to identify user/ individual related to resource
- S3 Buckets - 122
- EBS Snapshots - ~20,000 across all regions
- EC2 Instances - 166
- Cloudfront - 117
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of AWS environment
- 5+ years of software experience
- 3+ years of AWS experience
- Specifically Cloudtrail, S3, EBS
- 3+ years of corporate experience
- Familiarity with JIRA, gSuite, Slack, Zoom
- Soft skills related to TPM capabilities
