**Position:** Superintendent
**Experience Required:** 4-5 Years as Assistant Superintendent on Commercial Construction Sites (Including Ground-Up K-12 Projects)
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent with 4-5 years of experience serving as an Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction sites, including ground-up K-12 projects. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of construction plans and specs, demonstrate leadership in managing projects, and ensure high-quality and timely project completion. This role requires a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
- Assume ultimate responsibility for construction activities on assigned projects.
- Work directly with the Project Manager to ensure project success.
- Possess expert knowledge of assigned plans and specifications.
- Participate in the pre-construction phase, providing insights on constructability issues.
- Host mandatory preconstruction meetings with each subcontractor before their start date.
- Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the project.
- Understand, implement, and uphold company procedures and processes.
- Maintain and update the Project Schedule, preparing updates for each subcontractor meeting.
- Develop and manage short-term construction schedules.
- Complete, retain, and maintain Daily Reports in the project software and W:// Drive.
- Properly document project and subcontractor performance.
- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of project materials.
- Host weekly subcontractor meetings to address project progress and issues.
- Maintain a clean and presentable construction trailer and job site.
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Ensure that all punch list items and procedures are completed (including sub, architect, owner, and MEP punch lists).
- Train Assistant Superintendent or other assigned staff.
- Serve as the key relationship-holder with the district and architect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Project (scheduling software).
- Utilize submittal tracking software and logs effectively.
- Utilize Plan Grid Software.
- Strong communication skills to proactively manage subcontractors (material delivery & manpower).
- Be a forward thinker and proactive solution-finder.
- Maintain open, honest, and frequent communication with both the General Superintendent and Project Management Team.
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
