Position Summary:
The marketing director position is responsible for crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and foster revenue growth across MMT and its subsidiaries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. This position demands strategic acumen, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a profound grasp of digital marketing, market dynamics, and consumer trends. Key responsibilities include formulating marketing strategies, overseeing marketing operations, managing advertising initiatives, conducting market intelligence activities, developing pricing strategies, coordinating Marcom efforts, handling public relations, and spearheading in-store launch campaigns.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets for US and global markets.
- Oversee all aspects of marketing, including branding, product marketing, digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and events.
- Trade Show planning, organization and management
- Build campaigns and facilitate execution: new product launches, events, etc.
- Create content: press releases, email messaging, social media posts, etc.
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with sales, product development, and customer success initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs, using insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize marketing investments for maximum ROI.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners to amplify brand reach and thought leadership.
- Measure and analyze marketing performance metrics, provide regular reporting to executive leadership, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive performance and career development.
Position Qualifications and Competency Statements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, with at least 10 years of experience in marketing leadership positions.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth and achieve measurable results.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach to marketing.
- Experience in technology, healthcare, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in managing and optimizing large marketing budgets.
- Proven experience in managing and executing marketing strategies across diverse international markets.
- Ability to drive innovative marketing campaigns and think creatively to solve complex marketing challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to develop customer-centric marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Constant Contact), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in leading change management initiatives and driving transformation within the marketing function.
- Certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, or HubSpot certifications, are a plus.
