Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings.
- Assess patient conditions and provide emergency care per protocols.
- Administer medications within your scope of practice and perform procedures according to established protocols.
- Perform physical examinations and collect patient medical histories.
- Provide basic life support and CPR as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
- Knowledge of human physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in emergency situations.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
