School Mission and Overview
Since 2009, EFBA’s part time school model has been making quality bilingual education accessible to students K-12. Our mission is to offer bilingual education, multicultural French-language education, and opening children’s minds to the world.
We are looking for an individual that shares a passion for all French and francophone things for the 2024-2025 school year for our French courses. The position is located in Belmont, CA.
Job Description & Qualifications
We are seeking a dynamic French Teacher:
- Lives within commuting distance to Belmont, CA
- Provides high quality instruction through in person instruction
- Engages with students in dynamic classroom content
- Holds a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Has French teaching experience and/or holds an active teaching certificate in French
- Has a passion for helping K-12 students
Start & End Date
Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30pm, and Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00-5:30pm
Optional early drop-off supervised playtime hours available 3:00-4:00pm, if teacher candidate is available
Teacher training begins September 1, 2024
Classes start the week of September 16, 2024
Time Commitment Per Week
3-6 teaching hours per week, plus administrative time
