The Role:
Client is seeking a Sr. Pega Architect - LSA to join our team in Plano, NJ/Addison, TX (Need Onsite day 1, Hybrid 3 days from office, No Remote).
Job Description:
The Sr. Pega Architect - LSA will be responsible for the design, architecture, and development of Pega-based applications. They will lead projects and provide technical guidance to junior developers. The candidate should have a deep understanding of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) tools and lead the design and development of Pega solutions
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality, performant, and maintainable Pega applications.
- Implement best practices in Pega architecture, design, and coding.
- Work closely with business analysts and other team members to understand the business requirements and translate them into Pega solutions.
- Lead the technical team through project completion, providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards.
- Ensure system capacity, performance, and failure recovery processes are in place.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.
- Manage the deployment of Pega updates, integrations, and new development projects.
- Remain current on Pega technologies and best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Experience with Pega version 8.x.
- Lead System Architect (LSA) certification is required
- Proven experience in Pega systems scaling and integration.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Knowledge in database design and SQL
