Our client is seeking a skilled Linux Systems Engineer/Administrator with a strong background in Linux and Configuration Management to join their team. This role focuses on administration and integration, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with defense sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux systems with a focus on stability, security, and performance.
- Implement and manage configuration management solutions, with a preference for Ansible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and networks, ensuring seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems and networking.
- Support ongoing system administration tasks
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or Administrator.
- Proficiency with Configuration Management tools, specifically Ansible.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize network configurations.
- Military background is highly preferred, as it provides valuable insight into our customers' needs and challenges.
