Job Description
The Analytics Lead Product Manager for Experian Software Solutions (ESS) will develop products and ensure accelerated and profitable growth for the ESS Analytics suite of solutions. You will guide the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for select products, including solutions integrating Gen AI, focusing first on a new proposition to support data scientists in defining new data features using Experian data assets. You will report to the VP of Product Management, and the position is remote in the US.
You Will:
- Develop an understanding of user personas and requirements (often focused on the data scientist persona) and product functionality to achieve product-market fit and scale
- Conduct analyses and lead discussions to assess product viability and feasibility and agree on strategy, dependencies, priorities, and roadmap for the product
- Help draft business cases for securing investment in product development
- Partner with data science, engineering, UX/UI, and regional teams to define a roadmap and product and technical requirements for development
- Work with development teams through Agile sprint cadences to manage the backlog, ensure product execution and roadmap delivery. Provide status updates and escalate blockers to leadership and executives
- Track and incorporate the impact of our products, including product metrics and revenue, into roadmap definition and product decision-making
- Build relationships and partner with global teams to bring solutions to market
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in retail credit, credit risk/analytics or financial services, including defining and delivering software and analytics product roadmaps and driving daily business, technical, and design direction
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience building and shipping software or data science solutions
- Passionate about data science and analytics applications as a force to lead customer impact, with experience applying advanced analytics (machine learning, generative AI) techniques to develop solutions for practical user and business problems
- Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners
