Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Civil Engineer for a client who can sit remotely. The candidate must be located in EST or CST hours.
Must Haves:
5+years of experience in Civil Engineering and Project management
Experience with ICPR and drainage calculations
Stormwater design experience
Must have EIT (Engineer-In Training license) or PE in Florida
Great communication skills
Overview:
- Lead and manage multiple engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met within the budget and schedule.
- Develop and utilize Civil 3D models for site development projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Create detailed engineering designs and plans, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide engineering support during the construction phase, including site visits, inspections, and resolving technical issues.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, understand their needs, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Provide guidance and direction to junior engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct site visits, field assessments, and meetings as required, ensuring project requirements are met on-site.
