We are currently hiring a Quality Test Technician to work Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm (Hours are flexible)!

What you’ll do:
- Participates as a team member and assists in developing Qualification Plans and R&D Test Requests, to support the Design Review process for new product development.
- Performs testing as specified in Qualification Plans and/or R&D Test Requests, or otherwise requested.
- Performs cosmetic inspection on various products to Hoya Quality Standards.
- Assists in writing Qualification Reports for R&D management.
- Collects and evaluates data for R&D Test Requests and reports the collected data to the job requestor.
- Uses the R&D tracking systems to monitor and close out job requests.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma is required with a demonstrated interest in scientific/engineering fields. Associate’s degree in a STEM field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of R&D equipment and instruments and procedures, and/or cosmetic inspection techniques and standards.
- Comfortable working with and around chemicals in lab setting.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Mechanical dexterity is preferred, but not required.
