IT Network Analyst

Our client, a large hospital system with an expanding technology team, is seeking a new Network Analyst to join their team! The Network Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and recommending networking architectures and policies that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. This role ensures the optimal performance of resources while maintaining security and oversees the maintenance of the Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and wireless networks to prevent unplanned downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Develops the overall design and implementation for the networking infrastructure.
- Serves as a solution expert for upgrades and services for reported issues or for assigned areas.
- Maintains, updates, designs, and develops assigned systems by translating organizational needs.
- Collaborates with operations leaders and end users of the system to design, build, test, train, implement, evaluate, and provide maintenance to assigned systems.
- Provide ongoing research for technologies and strategies that serve to further the infrastructure environment.
- Provides outstanding customer service to our customers and maintains positive relationships with other employees and contractors.

- Troubleshoots identified issues, solves end user problems, enhances, and optimizes applications.
- Participates in ongoing support and maintenance of existing systems and applications. Performs after-hours maintenance as required.
- Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation for assigned systems.
- Provides on-call coverage as deemed appropriate by management.
- Identifies and escalates production-critical issues to appropriate IT personnel.
- Uses ticketing system to log and monitor tickets.
- Participates in projects as deemed appropriate by management.
- Evaluates and corrects issues involving configuration of applications.
- Participates in Disaster Recovery planning, implementation, and testing.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT or Healthcare experience required, prefers 7+ years.
- Valid CCNP required, CCIE progression preferred.
- Prefer experience with Cisco hardware and software.
- Strong experience using (NAT, EIGRP, BGP, SD-WAN, and OSPF)
- Strong experience with Cisco based WANs, Datacenter fabrics, and campus networks.
- Strong experience planning, implementing, and troubleshooting local and wide area enterprise networks.
- Experience working with Cisco Wireless Controllers preferred, but not required.
- Ideal candidates will work onsite in Naples, FL often, must be within a 4hrs drivable distance to accommodate onsite about once a week.
- Must have the ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support the business (there are very few after hour pages. An average week is 2 pages outside of normal business hours).
