A global provider of products and services for the pharmaceutical sector is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen their team.
In this role you will be responsible for the completing detailed designs of GMP processing systems. Using Solidworks, you will design and develop complex component assemblies. You will also work on the revision of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for the processing systems, in line with customer requirements. Working with the wider development and fabrication team, you will ensure your designs are followed and products are manufactured to the required standards.
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in mechanical design
- Exposure to P&ID design and review
- Expertise in Solidworks
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and communicate this effectively
- Understanding of Bioprocessing equipment is a plus
