What you will do
Manage a technical development team to ensure that the development works from the team meet the requirements, costs, timeline, user expectation and follow ADTI system and security guideline. Manage, prioritize and lead all developments for AS400 computer programs by performing the following duties.
How you will do it
Follow IT change management process: Manage change requests- prioritize, gather/confirm requirement, design and solution review, resource assignment.
Hold technical meeting with the developers.
Hold prioritization meeting with the business. Communicates with other departments/locations as needed to gather info and or address the enhancement requests.
- Assist and review the analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time provided by the developers.
- Oversee the whole development process from analysis to hyper care.
- Production support as needed,
- Assist with analyzing code to find causes of errors and provide recommendation for revision of programs.
- Help with urgent enhancement requests.
- Converts designs and specifications into computer code.
- Writes documentation or reviews documentation written by others that describes installation and operating procedures (i.e. UAT, KT documents).
- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from the developers regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs.
- Ensure the monitoring of the change of programs after implementation is done.
- Additional duties assigned by management.
What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from accredited University or College.
- At least 5 years related work experience.
- Required experience working on AS/400 of RPG IV/ILE, Free form, SQL.
- Required five years of experience working with Macpac ERP. Mapics ERP experience is a plus.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skill.
- Required knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word using MS Windows platform. MS PowerPoint and MS Access experience a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Less than 10% required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
