What We’re Looking For:
IMS is seeking an experienced Data Architect who has expertise in business intelligence, data analytics, information management, and data-driven decision support systems, data modeling, strategy, design, development and implementation of large-scale analytics projects in the cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing data pipelines, managing and optimizing data warehouses, building analytics and predictive modeling to drive business operations and product decisions. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications and an ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient. You will be creating the blueprint and roadmap of a cloud-based system, based on the requirements and goals of the client or organization. You will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of IT BI operations and an ongoing impact on growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
● Develop data infrastructure strategies, including the overall enterprise data management framework, data security, and compliance
● Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy hybrid applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
● Develop and execute a strategy for digital transformation
● Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses
● Work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud privacy
● Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
● Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company
● Lead our organization through cloud adoption and establish best practices for BI/Analytics
● Vet cloud providers and third-party services
● Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training and documentation when necessary
● Primarily focus on leveraging Grow BI to create a single-source of truth for data
What You Bring to the Table:
Required Skills:
● Proven work experience as a Data Architect/Analyst or similar role
● Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
● Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
● Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated
cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
Preferred Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
● Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC
● AWS or Azure certification
