AD Energy are working with our amazing client in the USA who develop RNG projects across the country.
The Engineering Manager will have overall responsibility for providing direction and oversight of multiple 3rd party design firms on multiple fast-paced projects, including but not limited in support of operations at currently operating sites along with the development of new projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct activities in engineering, including research and development.
- Be a leader on a team to specify, design, analyze, and verify new components and systems.
- Develop component suppliers, part quality requirements, and assembly and test procedures.
- Make detailed resource plans and schedules to reach technical goals, such as the development of new products and designs.
- Check the technical accuracy and soundness of the work and methods of the team.
- Direct and coordinate the design of equipment and machinery.
- Confer with other levels of management on engineering activities.
- Manage a portfolio of engineering tasks in support of Design/Development, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience.
- Proven ability to take a lead on projects that have multiple engineering disciplines.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical knowledge in various engineering disciplines.
- Ability to breakdown complex engineering projects into smaller task they can be assigned and progress measured.
- Supervise the work of employees and third-party partners and set administrative procedures, policies, and standards, such as environmental standards.
