SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer, Associate to formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
· Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
· Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
· Demonstrate software development using one or more of these languages under the Unix, Windows, Linux, and/or MS-DOS operating systems.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related scientific discipline.
· Two (2) years of full-time professional experience in network computer equipment, system, and security.
· One (1)+ year of professional experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basic and/or other object oriented languages.
· Experience working with Department of Defense Information Assurance (IA) mandatory policies standards, procedures, and policies, with one (1) year full-time experience.
· Mastery of IAT Level I and IAT Level II CE/NE knowledge and skills with a certification in Information Assurance standards and policies.
