The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) Engineer to support, maintain, and develop, the existing enterprise Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) (formerly System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)) infrastructure in use at Infrastructure & Economic Development Delivery Center (IEDDC). The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of SCCM management in an enterprise network environment, 2+ years of SCCM packaging and application deployment in an enterprise network, and 2+ years of SCCM deployment of security patches.
Required Skills/Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with SCCM management in an enterprise network environment
- 2+ years of experience with SCCM packaging and application deployment in an enterprise network
- 2+ years of experience with SCCM deployment of security patches
- 2+ years of experience with SCCM OSD Task Sequences and a thorough understanding of their implementation, how to create, and optimize
- 2+ years of experience scripting in PowerShell
- 1+ year of experience with SCCM report and query writing
- 1+ year of experience with SCCM infrastructure design and deployment

The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of SCCM management in an enterprise network environment, 2+ years of SCCM packaging and application deployment in an enterprise network, and 2+ years of SCCM deployment of security patches.
The Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) Engineer will be tasked to:
- Support, maintain, and develop, the existing enterprise Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) (formerly System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)) infrastructure in use at IEDDC (Infrastructure & Economic Development Delivery Center)
- Build and deploy applications and operating system deployment (OSD) functions
- Learn to maintain and enhance the existing SCCM infrastructure, in addition to participating in the design, implementation and migration to future versions of SCCM
- Deploy and monitor SCCM application packages and OSD task sequences to IEDDC devices
- Develop custom reports, queries, and inventory data as it is requested
- Create and maintain workstation images
- Manage SCCM application deployments
- Monitor and report on deployment status
- Develop and maintain detailed SCCM system process documentation
- Monitor and manage distribution points
- Perform as a backup to the team engineer
- Assist remote IT support teams with use of the SCCM console and other functions
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience, and industry activities
- Collaborate with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Build strong customer relationships
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
