Company Overview:
This automotive supply chain company is going through a digital transformation to push ML/ AI initiatives and is rapidly expanding its data teams. This includes a Data Governance Lead to define and implement data governance strategy and initiatives. In this role, you will foster best practices across Master Data Management, Data Security, Data Quality, Data cataloging, and more.
Role Responsibilities:
In this role, you will report to the Chief Data Officer and will work with leaders across various business units. This role would have high visibility to senior leadership to put the organization in the best place possible to push data science and AI initiatives. Other responsibilities include:
- Establish and promote best practices for data governance
- Build a data community that includes data stewards and data owners
- Lead training on best practices for data management
- Collaborate with business executives to identify and measure data quality issues
- Define and implement data governance strategy throughout the enterprise organization
Skills:
- 7+ years of leading Data Governance initiatives
- Proven experience with defining and implementing data governance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of master data management, data security, data quality, and data cataloging
- Proficiency in Collibra, Alation, Axon, or similar
- Ability to break down complex requirements into digestible content for stakeholders
- CDMP, DGSP, or CIPP Certifications are highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills
BENEFITS:
$150,000 - $190,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits
