Responsibilities
- Promote safe practices and ensure robust quality control
- Use data analysis to identify and address process variations
- Streamline processes and reduce waste
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions
- Develop SOPs and train teams on new processes
- Coordinate process improvements with cross-functional teams
- Manage cleaning, changeover, and maintenance plans
- Ensure accurate and consistent production data reporting
- Oversee successful production runs of new products
- Motivate and engage the frontline team through performance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2+ years in a manufacturing role
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing industry preferably beverage packaging
- Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen
- Strong employee relations interpersonal team building and communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools/software
- Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced changing environment
- Strong planning organizational analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts holidays and weekends
