Pay: $22/hr
Hours:
- 1st Shift: 5am-3pm, Monday-Thursday open for Overtime
- 2nd Shift: 4pm-2am, Mon-Thurs open for OT

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The position is responsible for auditing material received, work in progress, and finished products in all areas of welding and/or assembly to ensure product conformance with work orders, engineering specifications, and drawing specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· Audit processes to ensure standards are being followed as specified
· Make decisions regarding product quality with appropriate awareness of customer needs, manufacturing processes, production schedule, and product function
· Leads or facilitates problem solving and process improvement activities
· Performs visual, dimensional, and operational audits of all work areas in the manufacturing area as well as the shipping/staging areas.
· Reviews customer specifications and/or drawings and ensures consistent compliance to customer quality specifications, drawings, etc.
· Reviews quality assurance report for accuracy and completeness.
· Verifies QAR against work orders, production schedule and system requirements for conformity.
· Works with quality team to develop, maintain and make changes as necessary based on ECN to QAR.
· Audits processes against standards such as work instructions, quality alerts, work orders, etc. to ensure personnel are following specifications.
· Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
· Precision Gage and caliber use required.
· Basic Microsoft 365 experience required.
· Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement experience preferred, but not required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
· Must be able to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and gages.
· Must be able to read and interpret drawings.
· Must be able to facilitate root cause analysis using basic problem-solving skills i.e.: 5 Whys, Fishbone, 4M’s with a cross functional team.
· Review parts used in welding/assembly for conformity to prints.
· Document non-conformity to suppliers and internal process owners.
