Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a Security Vulnerability & Remediation initiative. This role involves working with the Security and Engineering teams to address compliance assessments and develop long-term capabilities for vulnerability mapping and remediation. Candidates with experience in Zscaler or network security implementation are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects within the Workspace Services portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Create and maintain project plans in MS Project Server, including budget forecasting, accruals, invoice mapping, and resource time tracking.
- Analyze project plans and forecasts to identify critical paths and resource allocation issues.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan, covering internal and external communication, meetings, and documentation/reporting requirements.
- Work closely with functional resource managers to ensure effective resourcing of project efforts.
- Follow established release management processes to schedule and oversee code releases.
- Monitor the progress of deliverables and quality, proactively identifying and escalating risks and issues as needed.
- Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Manage project documentation in accordance with established standards, including team agreements, status reports, meeting minutes, risks, issues, and decisions.
- Ensure compliance with delivery processes and standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Extensive experience in both traditional project management methodologies and agile practices.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project Server.
- Expertise in formal risk management techniques.
- Excellent organizational and relationship management skills.
- Experience in change management and working closely with business stakeholders.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of IT delivery management experience.
- PMP certification or other formal project management training is preferred.
- Experience with Zscaler or network security is preferred.
