Job Description:
Provides technical assistance to computer users. Answers questions or resolves computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Responsibilities:
The capability to efficiently assist users with a wide range of technical issues, such as troubleshooting computing devices, (Windows) operating systems, network technologies, printers, and Microsoft software applications across different platforms (desktop, client-server, browser-based, etc.)
Required Years of Experience
6+ months of experience in IT or related area.
6+ months of experience in operating system or software application troubleshooting (e.g., root cause analysis, debugging).
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
